With the catch phrase, 'Latitude 40°North: The land of milk, wine and clean energy', the town of Kuzumaki has taken full advantage of the resources available to it as a mountain community. It is currently the number one dairy farming community in the Tohoku region in terms of both the number of cattle and the volume of milk production. Forestry is another important industry, where harvesting is carried out in harmony with the growth of the forest. Come and enjoy the 'reality of nature' through the many hands-on programs on offer that encourage visitors to not just observe but to experience, feel and learn about the wonders of nature.
